Science | Nature | Horses

This is the foundation of my work.

I’m driven to help leaders and teams grow in ways that are courageous, human, and deeply meaningful.

Learning itself is a vulnerable act.

After nearly two decades of building leadership capability across global organisations, I founded Everwild Consulting to integrate the most effective approaches to human development — combining behavioural science, nature‑based practice, and equine assisted learning to create meaningful, sustainable change.

Across industries, organisations are struggling to build the human capabilities that matter most in the AI era. Studies from McKinsey and Deloitte show that traditional leadership development is not keeping pace with the complexity leaders now face. My work focuses on the skills that matter most: presence, awareness, relational clarity, and human capacity under pressure.

My Approach

A philosophy shaped by the outdoors

My love of the outdoors and adventure shapes how I see growth. Just like mountain trails, leadership and team development require curiosity, resilience, and the courage to explore new ground.

The most meaningful growth happens when we pause, reflect, and step into new terrain — individually and together.

Why nature matters

Stepping outside is more than a change of scenery — it’s a return to clarity.

Research shows that time in nature lowers stress hormones, regulates the nervous system, and improves focus, creativity, empathy, and mood. It’s an environment that naturally supports reflection, vulnerability, and growth (Stanford, University of Utah, APA).

Equine assisted learning

Working alongside horses offers a powerful, experiential way to develop capability. Horses respond to what is true — not what is performed. They mirror presence, clarity, and congruence in real time, offering immediate feedback that accelerates self-awareness and behavioural change.

Leaders often experience insights in minutes that might otherwise take months in traditional settings.

Grounded in behavioural science

To turn insight into action, I draw on evidence-based models like COM‑B and E.A.S.T., which explain how habits form and environments shape behaviour. This helps translate awareness into sustainable new patterns that unlock potential.
