Hi, I’m Michael.
I help people and teams step into Wild Growth.
Growth begins when we leave familiar ground. Whether you’re leading a team, shaping an organisation, or seeking deeper alignment in your work and life, the path to what’s next starts with curiosity, courage, and the willingness to step beyond what’s known.
Experience guiding leaders through change
Over the past 17 years across Australia, the US, the UK, and the Netherlands, I’ve partnered with leaders, executives, and teams navigating change — helping them build capability, strengthen leadership, and unlock high performance.
Together we’ve built psychologically safe cultures, developed leadership capability, and used strengths-based approaches to help people and organisations align their values with meaningful outcomes.
I’ve worked with global organisations, purpose-driven consultancies, and executive leadership teams navigating complex transformation.
After years guiding organisations through complex change, I created Everwild Consulting to bring a more human, strengths-centred approach to leadership and growth.
I now integrate nature-based and equine-assisted experiences into this work — particularly in the Macedon Ranges — to create deeper, more embodied and lasting change.
No matter where you’re starting from — leading, collaborating, or growing in your everyday life — the first step is the same: noticing what’s already alive within you.
Let’s walk the next part of the journey together.
My Approach
A philosophy shaped by the outdoors
My love of the outdoors and adventure shapes how I see growth. Just like mountain trails, leadership and team development require curiosity, resilience, and the courage to explore new ground.
The most meaningful growth rarely happens on familiar paths. It happens when we pause, reflect, and step into new terrain — individually and together.
This philosophy extends into my work in equine-assisted learning. Working alongside horses creates a powerful, experiential way to develop awareness, presence, and leadership capability.
Horses respond to what is true — not what is performed. They mirror presence, clarity, and congruence in real time, offering immediate feedback that accelerates self-awareness and behavioural change.
Leaders often experience insights in minutes that might otherwise take months in traditional settings.
